

A native of Peru, South America, Ana
has been dancing since 1978, and graduated from the University
of Colorado at Boulder with a BA in International Affairs
in 1982. She performed on the CU Ballet Folklorico Dance
Team for 3 years. During this time, she studied Flamenco
dancing from the Dance Academy of Carmen Rojas in Seville,
Spain. Ana also studied Mexican dance throughout various
states in Mexico. She was also an instructor for Our Lady
of Guadalupe for 3 years, and formed Baila Conmigo in
1996.
Ana created Baila Conmigo to promote
appreciation and respect of different cultures through
dance. |

Lisana, daughter of Ana Artica, began
dancing at the age of 5. Lisana has been performing with
Baila Conmigo since 1996, and has been teaching since
2005. A graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder
with a BA in Political Science, and is currently pursuing
her Masters in Business Administration at Regis University. |

Conny, also daughter of Ana Artica, began
dancing at age 5. She trained in hip hop and jazz at the
Colorado Center of Dance for 6 years, and was also a dancer
and choreographer for the Adams State College Dance team
for 1 year. During her attendance at Adams State, she
danced for Semillas de la Tierra in Alamosa, CO. Conny
began dancing with Baila Conmigo in 1996, and has been
an instructor since 2005. Conny has also been a choreographer
for high school events, Latin dance competitions, in addition
to many Peruvian and Mexican dances for Baila Conmigo. |

Jessica has been performing for Baila
Conmigo for the past 10 years, and began teaching in 2007.
She is currently attending Ft. Hays State University in
Hays, Kansas, and is pursuing her BA in Psychology. Although
she studies out of state, she still remains an active
performer of Baila Conmigo in the summer and holidays. |
